Remi and I went to Utah for a week to visit the fam and eat like fat kids! And boy did I ever! I think I gained 5 pounds... No, I did gain 5 pounds while we were there! Can we say Fatty? We went to Cafe Rio a couple few times for a shredded beef salad then to Kneaders for a Turkey, Avocado on Croissant with extra kneaders sauce and a brownie for later. I love to eat at those places when I go to Utah. Mandee took me to Flour Girls & Dough Boys, the shortbread chocolate chip cookies were soooo good! Don't you worry, we didn't eat all of that in one day. We spread the goodness throughout the week.
We hung out with the fam a lot. Grant made us laugh a lot. We had family dinner on Sunday, it was yummy. My Mom made cookies like she owned a cookie shop again and of course I had to eat a couple 10 fresh out of the oven. They were so delicious!
Remi loved all of her cousins, they were always making her laugh. We miss those little turds! Charlie said "I love Remi" oh, probably 200 times! He's such a lover!

Mikie got a new little schnauzer puppy named Lucy. She is sooo cute! I love her and her delicious puppy breath!
I miss my family and wish we all lived closer together. Maybe someday.
Hopefully Jeff will let me come back in May... don't hold your breath though, he missed Remi too much. I'm chop liver these days. And that's ok, I guess!

The bright side to not living by each other is- we would be so much fatter if we did.
Charlie is still talking about his love for Remi. He LOVES her. And even if he does want a little sister... and even if we tried one more time... he wouldn't get one. We don't know how to have those.
I am so glad you got a picture of Jack on the fireplace. After he failed to fall asleep there, he went to my room, got into my bed, and fell asleep. Poor baby.
We miss you guys so much. Tell Jeff to suck it up and come out with you guys in May. Chopped liver or not, he has to share you both.
I love getting to go home and have my kids oohed and aaahed over...you do become chopped liver, not just to your hubby either. It's all part of being a mom.
I need to see more pics of your fam! I totally miss those crazy folks...good times!!

Family time is always the best - even if it's a lot of eating & sitting!. Remi really is so cute. The next time I'm in Bakersfield, I hope to meet her!
Im sad that you had to leave your family, but glad that you are home so we can hang out again. Remi is getting so big and i love her chubby cheeks. Now that the weather is getting nice we should do lunch at the park. Call me
